2021 Fumey-Chatelain 'Le Zouave' Arbois Chardonnay Walter Scott blended by Master Distiller BillyThis is the first comeback of La Zouave, a cuve originally made for the first time in 2015 but not made since. It is a blend of all the old vine Chardonnay plots planted across the estate. The younger vines are instead used to produce Crmant. Chardonnay is pressed and ferments in a mixture of 228L barrels and foudres. Ageing takes place in the very same vessels and lasts approximately 12 months.
